Joseph G Perri, President and CEO of Gold Coast Bank was formerly an Executive Vice President of The First National Bank of Long Island, a member of the Bank’s Executive Committee, and Secretary of The First of Long Island Corporation. He was in charge of the Bank’s Commercial Banking Department which included all existing commercial customer relationships, as well as all commercial new business development. Mr. Perri joined The First National Bank of Long Island in 1990 as a Senior Vice President and was elected Secretary of The First of Long Island Corporation in 1999. Prior to joining The First of Long Island, Mr. Perri was a Vice President and Suffolk County Commercial Banking District Head for Marine Midland Bank NA which is now HSBC. Mr. Perri joined Marine Midland in 1974 and during that time held numerous credit and commercial banking positions. Mr. Perri is a frequent guest on the Fox Business show Cavuto, hosted by Neil Cavuto and gives numerous seminars for small businesses and CPAs on “How to Present a Loan Request to a Bank with the Greatest Chance of Success”. He is also a member of the New York State Charter Advisory Board which advises the Superintendent on various regulatory matters and serves on the Board of Directors of the Independent Bankers Association of New York State, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Alfred University, an MBA in Finance from Hofstra University and a degree from the Stonier School of Banking..

Michael P. Sabala is Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer .With over 35 years of banking experience, Mr. Sabala previously served as Senior Vice President and Department Head, Credit andLoan Administration for Suffolk County National Bank in Riverhead, NY Prior to that he was Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Herald National Bank N.A. in Melville, NY. Mr. Sabala has previously been Market Vice President for Commerce Bank in Melville, NY and prior to that was Senior Vice President Group Credit Officer for Sterling National Bank in New York City. Mr. Sabala also served as Senior Credit Officer for Barclays Bank of NY, Jericho, L.I.. Earlier in his career, Sabala held senior positions in Commercial Lending with State Bank of Long Island, The Long Island Savings Bank and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company where he was credit trained. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Young Men’s Christian Association of Long Island Incorporated and is the former Treasurer of The Health and Welfare Council of Long Island, Inc. Mr. Sabala received his MBA in Accounting from St. John’s University following a BA in Psychology from New York University.

Catherine Califano has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gold Coast Bank since September 2011. She has over 20 years of banking experience in the Long Island market serving as CFO for both publicly held and privately held financial institutions, including The Home Savings Bank, Haven Bancorp/CFS Bank, Northeastern Engineers Federal Credit Union and most recently First Central Savings Bank. She also served as Chairman of the Audit Committee of CheckSpring Bank, a community development bank in Bronx, NY. She began her career in public accounting with KPMG, rising to the position of audit manager. She is a certified public accountant in New York State and received her BS in accounting and MBA in Finance from St. John’s University. She is a member of the Banking Committee of the New York State Society of CPAs and the CFO Peer Group Council of the Independent Bankers Association of New York State, Inc. She also serves on the Business Advisory Council of the North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center in Roslyn, NY, where she resides.
